Dark clouds also have silver linings

Over the last few days there have been a lot of stress, anxiety , irritation and frustration among the people about the lockdown because people from all walks of life have been impacted severely and their mental trauma cannot be understood by those who are privileged and coming from the top echelons of the society.Peopledon’t know what to do in such a grim situation and that is what make them fret a lot and every passing day is making their life worth nothing .The first thing that should be done is such testing times is to adhere to the rules and comply with norms made by the Government, there should be  no ifs and buts and please don't take it for granted for the sake of your family and take risk-averse steps. The prior-ity should be keeping yourself and your family safe at all times, and at any cost.Social distancing,Proper hygiene should be maintained and handwashing goes without saying.Second extra care should be shown to people who are more vulnerable to the infection like children and the elderly. Third, Do everything to boost your immunity. Now, while all of us are locked down,we have to make use of the resources available to us.A nutritious diet, timely-exercise and proper sleep are the key.only basic 15 minutes of home work-out are good enough to maintain your fitness. Include a lot of dark leafy vegetables along with citrus fruits in your diet.Drink plenty of liquids, this combi-nation helps a lot in keeping one healthy. Good sleep is just as impor-tant. For this one have to eliminate and reduce stress. We have to just let go things that are happening around us and learn to Cooperate and compromise with the situa-tion because there is nothing much we can do about it. Taking unnecessary stress and angsting about things that are not in your hands is the worst one can do to one's body, mind and soul.Quarantinig,Social distancing and Self-isolation is also adding to the already existing anxiety and fear in people. “Humans are social animals" We need people around us most of the time. Therefore, social distancing is not the right thing to do but physical distancing is. There’s a great difference between the two. We should primarily focus on improving our social relationship by reaching out to old friends and family even if you have somehow lost touch with them. Call them up,connect with everyone you can via the internet and mobile phones. The need is to create a social milieu and physical isolation is a must not social isolation.Everyone should play a vital role to combat coronavirus ravages.

It's quite apparent that the fake news, rumours, and unsubstantiated claims on social media is spreading faster than that virus itself, and covid-19 has substantiated this thing.Govt's response to covid-19 has been preemptive, proactive and graded as officials say but it is not up to the mark, authorities should shun the myopic views amid the global spread.  Inmates are being given bail to decongest the jail premises.Philanthropists like TATA,and some celebrities are donating huge amounts that is a welcome step.
When the lockdown subsides our environment and biodiversity will reclaim their place like as olive Ridley turtles and whistling ducks in Assam are spotted after decades,AQI(air quality index)  of capital and NCR have become like Switzerland. Railway converted coaches into prototype isolation units is a welcome step.
