In the wake of SARS-COV-2 Worldwide lockdown has been enforced except a few countries, now everything is at standstill.World economies have toppled down and GDP is plummeting,ominous apprehensions of any new disaster is looming large.Precautionary measures are being taken,All the big events are now postponed like IPL and even Olympics are delayed or abandoned because we are facing the scourge of nature in the form of Corona pestilence.People are in the most awkward predicament,It's hard to keep wolf from the door for underprivileged. Viable steps are being taken,Morbidity rate is unequivocally very high because of its pervasive and persistent nature.We should ponder over and not squander this oppurtune time to think why such type of events are palpable in recent times inordinately.Actually it's not a health crisis it's an existential crisis in the form of pandemic.
Humans have exploited nature to a great extent, therfore people have come to very close contact with wildlife.We may boast of many technological advancements ,achievements, increasing our capabilities in overpowering nature and in outsmarting the animals.We have polluted our air, waterbodies, soil and even our inner soul. Natural disasters are occurring in various forms around the globe,Weather patterns are changing due to global warming,Glaciars are oozing at a rapid pace which have pave the way for the water level rise in oceans.Biodiversity has been destroyed, varieties of flora and fauna are on the verge of extinction or even many more already have extinct.Wildfires are imminent like in Australia, Amazon,Humans have disturbed the food chain.
Humans have brazenly infiltrated wildlife, unabashedly disturbed the natural framework,but it's repercussions and ramifications are fatal.Forest covers are shrinking at a fast pace due to population explosion and deforestation.Avowedly we are living in precarious conditions and very prone to facing scourge of nature and are vulnerable to these calamities.Ostensibly Every year we see menacing and grim events of Earthquake, landslide, cloudburst, wildfires, droughts and floods, Tsunami, thunderstorm occurring in various pockets of the globe.
Many new diseases caused by various lethal and deadly pathogens and viruses like in the forms of Ebola, H1N1,Nipah virus, Zika virus, JE(Japanese Encaphilitis), Enfluenza, Bird flu, Swine flu, SARS, MERS(middle east respiratory Syndrome), HIV,Now Corona virus pestilence and Hanta virus etc. are happening and wreaking havoc on human beings.
These are also like catastrophes and causing apocalyptic events and eventually humans are victims. These events implies that biodiversity is being wiped out and unequivocally indicates towards human extinction.
