Rampant Surge in hotspots

Nizamuddin the heart of Delhi has emerged as the biggest hot-spot cluster of the coronavirus outbreak,it may be a big blow to the flattening of the curve because the upcoming few days are very critical. The number of covid -19 cases in India soared over 2000 on Wednesday,A large cluster of novel coronavirus cases after a big religious congregation was held in the month of March by the Tablighi Jamaat at the Alami Markaz Banglewali Masjid.400 people are symptomatic (showing symptoms) and have been hospitalised in Delhi alone, nearly 240 have tested positive and at least 10 have died. The spectre of large scale community transmisaion by a few hundred attendees from different States is looming large and it cannot be be ruled out that government authorities, convener of the congregation have done a culpable and unpardonable job. Avowedly it is the breach in the efforts and it is posing a threat in the exhausting work of containment of the spread across the country, states should complete the contact tracing of all Tablighi jamaat members who attended the outfit's Nizamuddin headquarters on a war-footing, because there is a huge chance that that attendee could be carriers of (SARSCOV-2). Because of Both central and state governments laxity, it has become a new challenge in front of them.Only four days have been taken for the covid-19 counts to gallop from 1000 to 2000.Mumbai has recorded as many as seven covid-19 deaths in a span of 24 hours. After all,WHO had called COVID19 a pandemic on March 11.India should take a cue from other countries that caused havoc and because of  Similar gatherings in the religious places and in the political events.

  • But after all, government awoke from its deep slumber and sent NSA Ajit Doval to rope in the heads of Markaz, and Doval appealed to the people that they would have followed the law of the land as the virus would not target anyone based on religious identity.
