In any democratic framework, bureaucracy has a pivotal role for successful implementation of policies laid down by the legislature which are vested with the power of giving the policy the legal authority. In India bureaucracy have maligned with the accusations of corruption and red-tapism, but it is a very important structure because In this time of unprecedented crisis government officials are worth considering and play a vital role for the smooth functioning of the Nation.Heart-wrenching videos of Police personnel,doctors,healthcare professionals and civic officials who are being assaulted by mobs by pelting stones, throwing sticks, shouting abuses are going viral and circulating on social media platforms, e. g. Indore incident where doctors are being thrashed by angry residents, a similar incident emerged from Hyderabad and Surat. Doctors are being forcefully evicted from their panicked landlords because they think that these professionals are carriers of coronavirus so they are highly susceptible to contracting the virus. Some cases are emerging from covid hot-spots where doctors are stranded on the highways nowhere to go. PM urged people not to mistreat the government officials and doctors and consider them as 'incarnation of God' not as a pariah in the long-drawn battle against COVID-19. In this environment of misinformation and thriving rumour, Airline and airport staffs are also facing the brunt of the frightened populace,they are also still being called on for evacuation , stigmatised, ostracized and threatened.Air lndia staffers are being stopped from entering their own residential premises by Security guards. But still ,they are striving round-the-clock for the betterment of our countrymen.
